Locayta ESP is implemented on your site by use of Javascript and simple HTML tags on your web pages (or master templates).

The html tags define the merchandising zones (including Search) on your site. When a web page loads, the JavaScript calls the Locayta ESP platform which generates content formatted with HTML.

When the content has been received, the JavaScript engine then inserts the HTML content into the appropriate zones.

The ESP platform has two environments; work in progress (WIP) and the live environment. WIP is used for looking at changes to zones before they are published to live.
