Locayta tracks user activity on your site to create in-depth customer profiles. Tracked activity includes: which items customers searched for and which items they viewed, added to basket or purchased.

This data is analysed in real-time using sophisticated 'weighted user journey' algorithms to evaluate the customers' activity and adjust the search results provided by the search engine in response to customers' current and previous behaviour.

As part of the Locayta ESP suite of technologies, the Locayta search engine is completely integrated within the ESP Merchandising platform and provides the 3rd layer in Locayta's 5 Layers of Merchandising.

This means it can interact with other elements of the ESP platform to provide Search-driven mechandising (aka "Searchandising").
