Behavioural Retargeting

Some 98% of site visitors will leave a website without making a purchase. Locayta ESP uses behavioural retargeting to market to returning users who have previously abandoned your website without making a purchase.

Retargeting uses Locayta's behavioural merchandising algorithms to review users' previous interactions on your site (including incomplete purchases) to make recommendations to returning users.   

Retargeting can be used in an almost infinite variety of ways, including: to send users direct to the product description of the page they looked at previously before leaving, or to make promotional offers (e.g. free postage if ordered today etc.) or to cross-sell or upsell alternative products.

Behavioural retargeting enables the retailer to re-engage effectively with their users; generating higher conversion rates, whilst at the same time lowering acquisition costs - i.e. it is more effective to market to someone who has already shown interest in a product on your site, than to attract new users to your site.
