Job Description
The Project/Client Manger is a critical element in delivering our services to clients and ensuring successful client experiences that are consistent with Locayta’s high standards.

Responsibilities include managing project implementations to ensure successful delivery (on time, on budget), as well as ownership and continual improvement of the implementation process.

Project management is frequently involved in the proposal and contact stage of Locayta’s sales process, but becomes wholly responsible for the client and the project through the full project lifecycle from planning and designs through launch of the website.

Once a site has gone live, the Project/Client Manager is the primary point-of-contact for multiple clients and is responsible for building successful, long-term relationships with them. The Project/Client Manager will also be proactive in identifying potential opportunities for ongoing client satisfaction and taking action to address those opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Compile functional requirements for client site implementations;
  • Manage a project’s progress against its project plan, including allocation of resources;
  • Monitor the workload of the technical team;
  • Manage the expectations of clients, including setting deadlines and dependencies.
  • Proactively identifying client needs and preventing potential problems
  • Providing expert knowledge of the Locayta platform to effectively address client issues and requirements.
  • Monitoring all aspects of Locayta’s service delivery to ensure excellent service at all times.
  • Scheduling status meetings; providing training and presentations, as relevant.
  • Account/Client management.

Experience/ Soft Skills Required

  • Minimum 2 years project/client management experience working in a software development  project management role
  • Highly motivated and proactive
  • Demonstrates thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to manage accounts and relationships for multiple clients 
  • Extremely organized, diligent, detail-oriented and self-motivated 
  • Be able to work independently 
  • Proved presentational skills 
  • Strong strategic thinker 
  • Can self-manage and is organised, able to take responsibility for entire project and work un-supervised.
  • Able to gather requirements and communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
