2. Metrics-driven Merchandising

Metrics driven Merchandising uses data from the activity on the site itself, such as most popular (i.e. most viewed), newest to the site, margin, stock-levels, top-selling etc. to make recommendations - this is completely configurable by the client.

Top Sellers

What this means

In this example, as the item the user is looking at is new to the site, there are no behavioural recommendations of other products. ESP is therfore displaying the top selling items in this particular category as an alternative recommendation.

Top User Rated

What this means

In this example, ESP is using user ratings to display relevant products that are highly rated by other users on the site.
